Rob Faust is a Calgary-based DJ and enduring presence in the city’s underground—an “accidental DJ” who left his graduate studies to follow a deeper pull toward music. For over three decades, he has cut through rooms including The Embassy, Hifi Club, Night Gallery, Republik, Bamboo Tiki Room, and Sweet Loretta, shaping nights through instinct, memory, and feel.
He is the founder of FLASHLIGHT, a weekly cabaret/loft party that evolved into a word-of-mouth fixture, and host of Electric Company on CJSW. At Sweet Loretta, he holds down the Friday night The Express. His sets surf across jazz, funk, disco, house, and hip hop—shaped on the fly, gone as it happens. Doors at 9 p.m. (Free)
