How do I apply for a job?

How do I check the status of my application?
You can check the status of your application online via our careers website, simply log in as a previous applicant using your email address and password. A recruiter will be in contact with you should your qualifications meet the job requirements within 5-10 days of the close date of the position/s you applied for.
How do I find the Recruitment office?

Does Banff Centre offer practicum opportunities?
Yes, some of our departments offer practicum opportunities, usually in the summer months. Take a look at our programs page to see if there are any available.
My new job requires a criminal record check. How do I get one?
If you have less than six weeks to get a Criminal Check from your local law enforcement, then one can be obtained from the Banff RCMP, located at 335 Lynx Street. Hours of operation for this service is 8:30am to 4pm, Monday to Friday, closed on holidays. You will need a government issued picture ID. The cost is $40.00 and payable by cash only, no debit or credit cards accepted. Rates are subject to change.
Outside of work what else is there to do at Banff Centre and in the nearby area?
Banff Centre itself is a hub of activity hosting concerts, festivals, and exhibitions that staff can generally attend with complimentary or discounted tickets. Being in close proximity to three world-class ski areas, residents of Banff have plenty of options for skiing and snowboarding, something for everyone from beginners to advanced terrain. The town of Banff is a great base for exploring Banff National Park, from hiking and bike riding to white-water rafting and rock-climbing, Banff is a year-round destination. There are over 80 dining options to enjoy, hot springs to relax in, and a yearly calendar of community events and festivals. Where is Banff Centre?
The Centre is located at 107 Tunnel Mountain Drive. You can approach via St. Julien road, Buffalo street, or on foot via the Ken Madsen Path. Check out this video to see the walk up to the Centre.
How do I get to Banff Centre from the Airport?
The Banff Airporter will pick you up from the airport and deliver you to any address in Banff, including Banff Centre. They also have a shuttle service to Canmore. Please view their website for current schedules and rates.
How far is Banff Centre from downtown Banff?
15 - 20 minute walk via the Ken Madsen Path. Check out this video to see the walk up to the Centre.
Can I buy these household supplies in Banff?
Yes, at Great Canadian Dollar Store, and The Hudson Bay. There is also the Rundle United Thrift store, run by a local church, which is an inexpensive option for purchasing items such as bedding and housewares. Bed kits can also be purchased at the time of check-in for $40.00 at Don Becker. Bed kits are all new products and will be yours from the time of purchase. Bed kits include a pillow, pillow case, fitted sheet, flat sheet and a blanket.
Is there computer and/or internet access?
On-site: free wireless internet access is available across campus; free computer stations are available in designated areas on campus.
Off-site: internet hookup at RMCH and YWCA is responsibility of the resident through Telus or Shaw. To access the YWCA wireless, contact the YWCA Front Desk. They offer pre-paid time cards.
How do I get a Banff National Park Pass and how much does it cost?
You may purchase a day pass at the gates to Banff National Park. Please check the Parks Canada website as prices are subject to change. On the day you check into accommodation you will be given a housing confirmation letter which you must take to Parks Info Bureau (corner of Wolf St & Banff Avenue). They will give you an annual park pass for free. They will require picture ID and your license plate number along with your housing confirmation letter.
